CRAIG SOLOMON is the Executive Director at Wesley Child Care Center. Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts in
Elementary Education and Psychology from National-Louis University. Craig brings over three decades of relevant experience from both the public and private sectors of education. He previously held a senior level administrative/management position with the Chicago Public Schools as Assistant to the Board of Trustees and was also Senior Vice-President of a private consulting firm specializing in the education sector focused clients.
Craig first began his career with Wesley Child Care in 1991 working in the school-age programs and from 1996-2001 he served as the Multi-Site School Age Program Director. Craig rejoined Wesley Child Care in April of 2013 as Executive Director to serve Wesley families and the community.

BUSINESS SERVICES DIRECTOR
Melissa holds a level 5 ECE credential. She joined Wesley in 2004 starting out as a part-time preschool teacher and part time Accounting Coordinator. Missy began working as the full time Accounting Coordinator in 2009. Missy graduated from Elmhurst College in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Before working at Wesley Child Care Center, Missy worked at a licensed child care center tor 13 years as a teacher and director.
is the Preschool Program Director at Wesley Child Care Center. Jeanne holds a Bachelors of Arts in Child Development with a minor in Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Jeanne has been an Administrator with Wesley since 1991. Jeanne began in 1991 as the School-Age Program Director. In 1995 Jeanne became the Preschool Program Director. Jeanne’s previous experiences include working as a Child Life Specialist at Lurie Children’s Hospital and being an Administrator of other Early Childhood Programs and Summer Camps. Jeanne has successfully lead Wesley through several NAEYC Accreditations. NAEYC – The National Association for the Education of Young Children is a formal recognition of attainment of high standards of quality childcare and is a voluntary effort. Wesley was one of the first centers in the state to accomplish and maintain this attainment. Jeanne also leads the program in acquiring and maintaining Gold Level of Quality given by ExceleRate Illinois a statewide quality recognition and improvement system dedicated to making continuous quality improvements an everyday priority among early childhood providers. Jeanne holds a Level 5 Gateways credential for Early Childhood and a Level 2 Director credential.
DANIELLE FRANZESE is The Assistant to Directors at Wesley. Danielle joined the Wesley Administrative Team in 2018. Danielle holds her Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University. Danielle comes to Wesley with several years of both teaching and administrative experiences. Danielle holds a Level 5 Gateways Early Childhood Credential and a Level 2 Director credential from Gateways.
AZAM ABOUTORABI is a teacher in the Wesley Preschool Program. Azam has been at Wesley since 1989. Azam holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts and has 18 additional hours in early childhood education. Azam has been a presenter for the Association for the Education of Young Children Conference and has been very involved in intergenerational programming. In 2003 Azam received special recognition from the Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) for outstanding teaching team in the early childhood field.
ANNMARIE CASTRO AnnMarie is a Teacher’s Assistant with Wesley. AnnMarie holds an Associate’s Degree in Science from Moraine Valley Community College with some early childhood hours. AnnMarie has previous experience working as a Teacher’s Assistant at The Gardner School.
MARY LYNN DORNFELD
Mary Lynn holds an Early Childhood Associates Degree from Oakton Community College. Mary Lynn has been a teacher at Wesley since 2007. Before working at Wesley Child Care Center, Mary Lynn worked at Glenview Covenant Childcare for 16 years as a Preschool Teacher and an Administrative Assistant. MaryLynn holds a Level 4 Gateways Credential in Early Childhood
NARGIS FARISHTA Nargis is a teacher in the Wesley Preschool Program. Nargis has her Associates Degree of Arts with over 18 hours in Early Childhood. Nargis brings over 18 years of early childhood experience in various settings. Her extensive experience includes: Montessori, Preschool and over 16 years in a Head Start program. Nargis joined our preschool teaching team in September 2015.
Bonnie has been at Wesley since 2000. Bonnie holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Oakton Community College as well as a certificate in Intergenerational Studies. Previous to working at Wesley, Bonnie was a Preschool Teacher at Niles Township Community Day Care Center for twelve years. Bonnie holds a Level 4 credential in Early Childhood credential.
Shabana is a Teacher’s Assistant with Wesley. Shabana joined the Wesley staff in 2014. Shabana has over 8 years of experience as a Teacher’s Assistant for Asian Human Services. Shabana has an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts with 18 hours in Early Childhood.
CAITLIN JENKS Caitlin is a Teacher in Wesley’s Pre-Kindergarten classroom. Caitlin has her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood from Rasmussen College. Caitlin holds a Level 4 Gateways credential in Early Childhood. Caitlin joined the Wesley teaching team in 2017.
Darcy is a Teacher at Wesley. Darcy has been with Wesley since 1997. Darcy holds an Associate’s Degree as well as several certificates in Early Childhood Education from Oakton Community College. Darcy holds a Level 4 Gateways credential for Early Childhood and a Level 4 credential for Infants and Toddlers.
Violet has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Oakton Community College. Violet holds a level 4 ECE credential and a level 4 infant toddler credential . She is completing her Associates Degree in Early Childhood and brings over 10 years experience from an accredited early childhood center. Ms. Violet joined our preschool team in October 2015.
Kendra has been at Wesley since 2004. Kendra holds an Early Childhood Certificate from DePaul University and holds an equivalent to an Early Childhood Degree. Previous to working at Wesley, Kendra was a Preschool Director and Teacher for the Sonshine Lutheran Preschool in Prospect Heights.
Diana is a Teacher in Wesley’s pre-kindergarten classroom. Dianna holds her Associates Degree of Arts from The College of Lake County with several credit hours in Early Childhood. Diana’s previous experience includes 10 years of early childhood teaching practice in various early childhood settings and summer camps. Diana joined the Wesley Preschool team in 2016.
KIMBERLY SPALDING is a teacher in Wesley’s preschool joining the program in the Fall of 2018. Ms. Kimmy has her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Lincoln University in Missouri, with an emphasis on early childhood case management. Ms. Kimmy has completed 18 hours of Early Childhood coursework and will be finishing her final class this fall for her Director Qualification. Ms. Kimmy has over 15 years’ experience working with children and families. For the 3 years prior to joining Wesley, she has been a Lead Teacher/Program Specialist at Knowledge Beginnings in Glenview. Ms. Kimberly is a recipient of a Kohl Children’s Museum Grant as well as The Rochelle Lee teaching award. Ms. Kimberly volunteers with many organizations and can been seen regularly at Ronald McDonald House Charities.
